Originally formed as a one-off tribute to the work of the legendary London post-punk formation “The Sound”, the impact of the intense shows of The Sound Undercover on the many fanatical Sound fans was enormous and soon more shows followed. This is not surprising, given the fact that the band consists largely of members of the nationally and internationally, extremely successful Joy Division Undercover.
During their earlier tours, The Sound Undercover not only brought together many ‘Sound fans’ across the European continent for all those years, but even tapped into a new audience that was unfamiliar with The Sound and fell for the band’s timeless character and energetic sound.
