BHPL began its life in late 2020 as a means to make music in the restrictive environment of a global pandemic. With both members having a history of playing in various hardcore and metal bands, as well as having a shared interest in dark electronic music, a new project was born.
With influences ranging from DAF to Swans and Sarin the duo started writing raw and abrasive electronic music; heavily focused on pounding rhythms and sequenced basslines, topped off with distorted vocals. BHPL is far from done and will bring their heavy set to any venue looking for something different!
