GÖTTERDÄMMERUNG was formed in August 1991, it’s style is a combination of gothic/deathrock post-punk and noise. The first album was released in 1994 on the Dion Fortune Label to good reviews, and of course releases followed. Götterdämmerung is something of a forbidden fruit in the gothic/post-punk scene; known by many, yet they remain underground and sometimes unknown to the larger public.
In 2021 the band celebrated their 30th anniversary and at the same time they rise like a phoenix from the flames; armed with a fresh line-up and a new record deal with Alice In../Dark Dimensions.
